Pam is a Supply Chain Consultant, humanitarian and development, and an Executive Doctorate (DBA) Researcher at Cranfield University, researching public health supply chains in sub-Saharan Africa.
Over 20 years Pam's career has focused on Logistics & Supply Chain Management in the private and humanitarian aid sectors. Previously she worked for UNICEF as a Supply Chain Specialist, UNFPA (United Nations Population Fund) as the Humanitarian Logistics Specialist and before that for Oxfam GB as the Deputy Head of Logistics & Supply.
Other employers include the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and World Vision International. She holds an MBA in Supply Chain Management from Leicester University-UK; is a member of The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS-UK) and a member of The Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (CILT-UK).
Pam has spoken on supply chain management to various forums and given guest lectures to Cambridge University postgraduate students speaking on her real world experience of logistics and supply in the non-profit sector.
Pam serves as a member of the Advisory Committee that is working with the Fritz Institute and the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport to develop the Certification in Humanitarian Logistics.
