President: Pamela Steele, UNICEF

Pam is is the 'Programme - Supply Chain Specialist' for UNICEF in Copenhagen. In 2010, she begins studying for a Doctorate from Cranfield University, researching the medical supply-chain in developing countries. Previously she worked for UNFPA (United Nations Population Fund) as the Humanitarian Logistics Specialist and before that for Oxfam Great Britain as the Deputy Head of Logistics & Supply. Over 20 years Pam's career has focused on Logistics & Supply Chain Management in the private and humanitarian aid sectors. Past employers include the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and World Vision International. She holds an MBA in Supply Chain Management from Leicester University-UK; is a member of The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS-UK) and a member of The Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (CILT-UK). Pam has spoken on supply chain management to various forums and given guest lectures to Cambridge University postgraduate students speaking on her real world experience of logistics and supply in the non-profit sector. Pam serves as a member of the Advisory Committee that is working with the Fritz Institute and the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport to develop the Certification in Humanitarian Logistics.
