Susan has worked in International Relief and Development for the past 10 years in positions ranging from Financial Manager to Head of Mission and is currently the Executive Director/New Business Development Director for Air Serv International. In this role she has responsibility for the rapid response side of Air Serv. Prior to her current position, Susan was the Emergency Response Director for Air Serv and in such position has been in charge of Air Serv’s responses to the Mozambique floods in 1999, Goma, DRC in 2000, the volcanic eruption in DCR in 2002, the Iraq response in 2002, the Darfur/Chad response in 2003 and the Tsunami disaster response in 2005. As Air Serv is primarily a logistics specialist agency Susan has focused her career primarily on logistics and transport for the humanitarian community.
